KBF is conducting its first Virtual Child Nutrition Program (CNP) Training series on all Tuesdays of March 2022. The training is intended to support child carers by enhancing their knowledge and skills on proper nutrition, hygiene and sanitation, health, and feeding and positioning.

The first run of this training will be participated in by center heads, nurses, social workers, kitchen staff, nutritionists, and admin assistants, from DSWD FO 3 RSCC, DSWD FO 5 RSCC and Haven, and Hospicio de San Jose. KBF’s Foster Care Social Workers and foster parents are also participating in this training series.

Participants were welcomed on the first day by Holt International’s Director of Nutrition and Health Services, Emily De Lacey who also lead the pilot trainings of CNP in 2017. Ms. Glady Bunao, KBF’s Executive Director, was present to greet and meet the participants.
