Welcome to S.P.A.C.E.

Stories. Purpose. Advocacy. Connection. Empowerment.
A special place to connect, reflect, and be inspired — grounded in the heart of transformative social work.

I’m Glady Quindoza-Bunao, a registered social worker with over 30 years of experience in child welfare, alternative child care, and family strengthening. It is both my life’s work and deep personal mission to advocate for children, families, and the communities we serve, through the lens of compassionate, ethical, and transformative social work.

As the Executive Director of Kaisahang Buhay Foundation (KBF), I’m grateful for the opportunity to share with you stories, insights, and reflections from the field—about our work in adoption and foster care, our support for vulnerable families, and our efforts to promote trust-based healing through trauma-informed care.

I am also one of the very few certified Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) Practitioners in the Philippines, having completed the rigorous training under the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at Texas Christian University. TBRI® has further strengthened my advocacy to serve children from hard places with empathy, connection, and empowerment.

This space is my way of connecting with fellow social workers, students, advocates, and partners—as we work together to elevate social work practice and education here in the Philippines, across ASEAN, and globally. I hope this corner inspires, informs, and ignites your own passion to make a difference. Maraming salamat at tuloy po kayo!
