Today, January 17, 2025, KBF’s Executive Director Glady Bunao, Family Strengthening Program Supervisor Ryan Justo, and Foster Care Social Worker Carmina Bea attended the Strengthening Families Training at Makati Diamond Residences, hosted by Generations Home. The event brought together passionate advocates for child welfare and global leaders, including Robert Glover of Care for Children, in a shared commitment to promoting family-based care.
Through engaging discussions and the impactful screening of the documentary Children of Shanghai, participants explored innovative strategies to support children and strengthen families. The team from Saddleback Church also shared an overview of Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI), highlighting its value in creating connections and healing for children and families.
After the training, Filipino TBRI practitioners, including KBF’s Executive Director Glady Bunao, had the unique opportunity to connect and exchange insights with TBRI practitioners from Saddleback Church.
