The KBF Domestic Adoption Service recently held a one-day training for Prospective Adoptive Parents titled โ๐๐ช๐ง๐ฉ๐ช๐ง๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ผ๐๐ค๐ฅ๐ฉ๐๐ ๐พ๐๐๐ก๐๐ง๐๐ฃ: ๐๐จ๐ฎ๐๐๐ค๐ก๐ค๐๐๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ง๐จ๐ฅ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ๐๐จ & ๐๐ง๐๐๐ฉ๐๐๐๐ก ๐ผ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ง๐ค๐๐๐๐๐จ.โ
We are deeply grateful to our resource speakers: ๐๐จ. ๐๐ก๐๐๐ฎ ๐. ๐ฝ๐ช๐ฃ๐๐ค, ๐๐๐, ๐๐๐, who introduced Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI); ๐๐จ. ๐๐๐๐ฆ๐ช๐๐ก ๐ฟ๐ง๐๐ช, ๐๐ผ, ๐๐๐จ๐ฎ, who shared valuable psychological insights and practical strategies for managing childrenโs behavior; and ๐๐ง. ๐๐๐ก ๐๐๐ก๐๐ฏ, a KBF adoptive parent, who generously shared his familyโs adoption journey and emphasized the power of peer support. Their guidance offered our adoptive parents new perspectives, skills, and inspiration for their parenting journey.
Twenty-one adoptive parents actively participated, showing openness to learning, sharing experiences, and supporting one another. The training strengthened their understanding of nurturing adopted children and reinforced the importance of patience, empathy, and community in adoption.
