Last March 28, 2025, we had a meaningful session with our ILEA scholars—those now in boarding houses and the younger ones still under the care of HORFI, our partner agency for younger scholars in the Independent Living Service.
We talked about independence, covering key life skills like responsibility, time management, and decision-making. We also took the time to check in on how they’re doing in their independent living journey. Despite the distance, we continue to guide and support our scholars as they navigate independent living.
To deepen their understanding, they were encouraged to express what they truly feel and experience related to the discussion. It was a great session filled with insights and practical lessons for their journey ahead!
