Throughout the month of July, the KBF Team has been intentional in reflecting on and living out Accountabilityโ€”our Character Quality of the Month. From our General Staff Meeting, to our Monday Flag Ceremony, and again as we ended the workweek with todayโ€™s Flag Retreat, weโ€™ve deepened our understanding of what it truly means to take ownership of our work and responsibilities.

We know that when we apply Accountability in our day-to-day actions, we build a stronger, more trusting team. We create a workplace where people feel supported, respected, and committed to a shared mission.

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.” –ย Colossians 3:23โ€“24 (NIV)

This verse beautifully reminds us that our work is ultimately an act of worshipโ€”calling us to do our best, act with integrity, and take responsibility in everything we do.

Here is our Staff Commitment to Accountability:

โœ”I will take ownership of my roles, tasks, and responsibilities.
โœ”I will follow through on my commitments and meet deadlines.
โœ”I will communicate proactively when I face challenges or delays.
โœ”I will ask for help early when I cannot meet expectations on my own.
โœ”I will admit my mistakes and learn from them.
โœ”I will strive to meet or exceed the standards of quality in my work.
โœ”I will support a culture of trust by being reliable and dependable.
โœ”I will honor God in my work, doing everything with sincerity and excellence.

Together, let us continue building a culture of accountability, grounded in faith, strengthened by teamwork, and driven by purpose.
