The Kaisahang Buhay Foundation through our dedicated social work interns from the University of the Philippines – College of Social Work and Community Development (UP CSWD), Aedry Absalon and Pong Basas conducted a group work activity entitled “Culmination and Parents Honouring Circle” with the parents of the Family Community Outreach Program (FCOP) Educational Assistance Service (EAS) beneficiaries.
This meaningful gathering created a safe and heartfelt space for parents to look back on their journey, sharing stories of growth, strength, and valuable lessons learned throughout the program. It was a moment filled with gratitude, encouragement, and genuine connection.
This activity also marked the culmination of the group work process and fulfilled the academic requirements of our social work interns. Our heartfelt thanks go to our partner community; House of Refuge, UP professors, and all the parents whose openness, trust, and participation made this experience truly special and inspiring.
