KBF proudly participated in a consultation meeting led by DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, alongside Undersecretaries Denise Bragas, Em Villar, and Janella Ejercito Estrada, Assistant Secretaries Elaine Fallarcuna and Rowena Macalintal, and other DSWD and NACC officials. Together with Child Caring and Child Placing Agency Executive Directors, we engaged in vital discussions on Foster Care, Adoption, and Deinstitutionalization, as well as the Guidelines on the Certification of Adoption and Alternative Child Care Programs and Services in public and private social work agencies, and the Guidelines on the Implementation of Adoption and Alternative Child Care Programs in residential-based social work agencies.
This collaborative effort strengthens our commitment to ensuring that every child finds a safe, loving, and permanent family.
