Kaisahang Buhay Foundation proudly honors our Executive Director, Ms. Glady Quindoza-Bunao, RSW, MSW, who was recognized during the 7th Filipino Social Workers’ Day held on June 19, 2025, at The Manila Hotel.
Ms. Bunao received a Plaque of Recognition, personally handed by Honorable DSWD Secretary Rex Gatchalian, together with Undersecretary Denise Florence Bragas, Assistant Secretary Janet Armas, and DSWD Academy Director Atty. Justin Batocabe. This prestigious award was given in honor of her exemplary leadership as Chairperson of the ASEAN Social Work Consortium–Philippines (ASWC-PH) from 2023 to 2025.
A passionate and dedicated advocate, Ms. Bunao championed stronger policies and deeper collaboration to elevate the social work profession—not only in the Philippines but across ASEAN. Her term was marked by regional solidarity, professional excellence, and tireless advocacy for social workers in every sector and setting.
During the event, she also delivered the official Solidarity Message, echoing her belief that social workers—across generations and nations—are united in their mission to uphold human dignity through wisdom, excellence, and compassion.
This heartfelt recognition marks a meaningful capstone to her ASWC-PH leadership, as she formally turned over the Chairpersonship, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire both present and future social work leaders.
