Kaisahang Buhay Foundation hosted a joyful Thanksgiving and Christmas celebration for foster children and their foster parents, truly reflecting the heart of our foster care program. This Christmas gathering also served as a pre-event in celebration of KBF’s 50th Anniversary, making the occasion even more meaningful. The celebration was further enriched by the presence of Mr. Dan Smith, President and CEO of Holt International, during his first visit to the Philippines.
The children’s joy was unmistakable, especially with the surprise appearance of the Jollibee mascot, a favorite close to the hearts of Filipino children. The celebration came alive with games, dancing, singing, and the distribution of Christmas gifts. Sir Dan added to the excitement by sharing chocolate treats, bringing even more smiles and laughter.Â
The gathering also provided a meaningful space for foster parents to share their journeys and the joys of fostering, with some having lovingly opened their homes to children for over 30 years.
More than a celebration, this Christmas at KBF was a heartfelt reminder of the power of love, generosity, and community coming together.Â
