“𝐶𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝐵𝑎𝑏𝑦: 𝐴 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ 𝐺𝑢𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑃𝑟𝑒𝑔𝑛𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑊𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛”

We recently conducted the “𝐶𝑎𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑟𝑠𝑒𝑙𝑓 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑌𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝐵𝑎𝑏𝑦: 𝐴 𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑙𝑡ℎ 𝐺𝑢𝑖𝑑𝑒 𝑓𝑜𝑟 𝑃𝑟𝑒𝑔𝑛𝑎𝑛𝑡 𝑊𝑜𝑚𝑒𝑛” seminar for 25 beneficiaries of the Community-Based Pregnancy Counseling and Referral Service (CBPCRS).

Led by resource speakers Ms. Mary Ann Miranda and Mr. Raymund Fajicula from the Commission on Population and Development (CPD-NCR), the training covered essential topics such as responsible procreation and family planning.

Additionally, Ms. Maricar Villado, Executive Director of the Philippine National Clubfoot Foundation Inc., delivered a presentation on clubfoot, a common congenital anomaly. The session aimed to raise awareness, promote early detection, and encourage parents to be partner in addressing this issue. 

As part of the seminar, the staff distributed newborn baby kits to all 25 participants, providing them with essential items for their babies’ arrival. This activity demonstrated support for the pregnant mothers as they prepared for the upcoming birth of their children.
