A successful session on responsible parenting for the parents of 100 beneficiaries of Early Childhood Care and Development Service (ECCDS) was held on the 25th of June 2025.

The event was made possible with the support and participation of Kaisahang Buhay Foundationโ€™s partner agencies from Philippine National Clubfoot Foundation, Commission on Population and Development (CPD-NCR), and Rosalie Rendu Development Center (RRDC).

The sessionโ€™s first phase, entitled โž๐‘ฉ๐’–๐’Š๐’๐’… ๐’“๐’†๐’,โž centered on responsible parenthood and was led by Ms. Mary Ann Miranda and Mr. Raymundo Fajicula from CPDโ€‘NCR emphasizing parentsโ€™ critical role in guiding their children toward future success, highlighting the importance of open family communication to support their children’s growth and wellโ€‘being.

The second phase was led by Ms. Maricar Vallido, Executive Director of the Philippine National Clubfoot Foundation Inc. explained what clubfoot is, she described how itโ€™s treated and addressed common misconceptions about the condition, urging parents to help raise awareness about clubfootโ€”and share information about the Philippine Clubfoot Programโ€™s free treatment offerings in partnership with MiracleFeet.

The morning program ended with a heartwarming communal meal featuring a traditional Filipino kamayanโ€”or โ€œbudol eatingโ€โ€”experience. Food was served on banana leaves, encouraging everyone to dine by hand in a relaxed, egalitarian setting. This shared meal fostered genuine connection and unity, allowing participants, speakers, and staff to bond deeply beyond formal roles.
