In celebration of the 33rd National Children’s Month 2025 and as a meaningful pre event to KBF’s 50th Anniversary, we gathered at the Rosalie Rendu Development Center in Parañaque City to stand together for every child’s safety, dignity, and future 💙👨‍👩‍👧‍👦💛

Guided by the theme “Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC)and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials (CSAEM): Wakasan Kaligtasan at Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban!” (End Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children and Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation Materials; Defend the Safety and Rights of Every Child), the celebration brought together 150 child beneficiaries from EAS and ECCD, members of the Child Rights Group (CRG), parent leaders, dedicated volunteers, and valued partners. Among those who joined were Executive Director Glady Bunao, Mr. Dan Smith, President and CEO of Holt International; Ms. Sonja Kranendonk, Program Officer of Wereldkinderen; and Mr. Ryan Justo, FCOP Program Supervisor.

Through child friendly activities rooted in rights based education, participation, and protection, we created a safe and joyful space where children’s voices were heard and their rights affirmed. The day ended on a heartwarming note as KBF facilitated a gift-giving activity led by KBF E.D. Ms. Glady Bunao together with partner representatives Mr. Dan and Ms. Sonja. Noche buena packages were shared with families, while children received gifts and chocolates that brought smiles and excitement.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to the Family and Community Outreach Program (FCOP) team for their dedication, hard work, and thoughtful preparation that made this important event meaningful and successful.

Together, we continue to celebrate, protect, and fight for the rights of every child today and always.
