A spirit of compassion marked the recent visit of Kaisahang Buhay Foundation, led by Executive Director Glady Bunao and team, together with Holt International President and CEO Dan Smith and Wereldkinderen Program Officer Sonja Kranendonk. The team supported families under the Early Childhood Care and Development (ECCD) and Educational Assistance Service (EAS) by distributing food packs and spending time with them, bringing smiles and reassurance that they are not alone in their journey.
The team visited the community where some sponsored children live, gaining a deeper understanding of their daily realities. They also saw firsthand the housing conditions and challenges faced by families, strengthening appreciation for their resilience. At Saint Rita Orphanage, meaningful conversations with Social Workers and Sisters, along with joyful moments playing with the little ones, reminded everyone that presence, care, and genuine connection are at the heart of hope, healing, and building brighter futures for every child.
